High flow cat
Today is plenum day, unfortunately I have to pay a local to install to Hughes kit for me since I am at school and work. But I will be replacing the the cat since I think it is clogged I would like to go to a high flow for a little better performance and yea I will be replacing the first sensor and possible the second( just replaced when I installed my muffler) so what would everyone recommend I've googled this many time and I keep gettin the pipes and all I just want the cat so I can cut the old off and slip the new on ad weld it on. Please let me know what ya think!!!
Depends on location!
Feds want you to have a Cat, nobody cares about the Feds. State and Local Laws maybe require having a functioning Cat, which could be harder to squeeze by.
If you don't have to pass emissions, straight pipe to the muffler!
If you do, MagnaFlow High Flow Cat...

1998 1500 and I am not worried about the Feds here in the great state of Ohio but where I live these old people would sh*t a brick if my truck was any louder then what it is now. But I will be putting headers on soon!!!

Post #6... use a high flow universal CAT after a 'Y'-pipe.
Or the Magnaflow highflow stock replacement.
