To much exhaust can take away your low end torque. It's a balancing act. You want loud or the truck to jump off the line. I just drove a 5.9 half way across the country. It has some glasspack junk with duals out the back like in your pics and a cold air intake. It's a dog from a dead start compared to my bone stock red ram. I will be demodifying in the coming weeks. The oversizeed 265's are taking a lot of extra power away also. It's great once your running 70 mph and above, lots of power there.

Yeah my truck takes off pretty good and out on the highway it takes off decently. But in town if I am cruzing around at about 35 and hammer down, it takes off like a rocket.
