+1

If you haven't gotten the exhaust yet, you could get this setup:

pretty nice for 250, and I bet it's damn loud.
I plan on doing that exhaust when I have the cash, and as they're recommended in another thread by a member:

That Y-pipe is for the Pacesetter longtube headers, and won't bolt up with the shortube headers you plan on using.
I also doubt that Y-pipe will work with the CAT back that you list.

Too early in the morning for me, I had a tab open with that y pipe for another exhaust I was looking at, the exhaust is going to be true dual, not going to need a y pipe, just some piping, mandrel bender, and welder. Forget I listed that lol.

Exactly what I thought!! They said its because my engine will run at higher rpm's and it will wear my rings faster. I thought it sounded stupid too. And i burn oil every once In awhile on startup and when I floor it.

Done your plenum yet? If not I'd be more concerned with that then putting a loud exhaust on.... Shouldn't be burning oil what soever. And who told you this about exhaust burning oil? Sounds like complete tard... Duals cause you to run higher rpm, what? That makes less then no sense...

Yeah, it sounds so much better, and the big grin that develops the harder you press on the pedal, tends to make you press on the pedal more... hence, running higher RPM.

Rofl. Nice explanation!

"Yea You'll lose oil like crazy, i know because I turned my exhaust into 1 8" pipe the runs off two headers that immediately dump into it and then straight out through the cab of the truck. It revs that v8 to like 15,000 rpm just blipping the throttle. Lesson? Don't put on bigger exhausts... They make your engine rev too hi and blow oil past your sealed off piston into your combustion chamber... damn exhausts..."

Yeah I am so happy to hear that. And I know right?! I think the guy that told me is just jealous.
