Default True duals

I kind of have an idea of how loud my new exhaust system is going to be but just out of curiosity how loud will it be?? I will be running 2.5 inch pipes down off the manifolds with no cats and then 18 inch glasspacks and after those, 2 1/4 inch pipes out to 3 1/2 inch tips.

It's gonna be damn loud, that's all I could guess. I've got a CRF (fiberglass mat) muffler, and it is really loud except that I have a spring loaded valve in it to help keep it quieter on highway, but when towing or asking for power it gets really loud.

Dynomax is the only muffler maker I know of that makes the valve thingy. Love it, other than it rattles sometimes

Thats gonna be friggen LOUD! I'd get shorty headers to replace the manifolds, and just run the stock 2 1/4" down pipes (at least thats what mine is). What glass packs, thrush or cherry bomb or another? Thrushes look a lil different on the inside, with some kind of padding in them while cherry bomb is just expanded pipe
If you want it to "snap" put em on 90's, otherwise 45's will look great.

I love the sound of my truck, deep and raspy.

It will definitely be loud. I have the same exhaust except I used 12" glasspacks. Tips are 45* out the back. Hammers a lot around 1600-1800 RPM then a whole lot anything above 2300 RPM. I love the way it sounds. Have to stay off the gas in the city tho .
