Replacing stock sized tires with stock size and have a question

Ok, I was waiting for dodge to send me my build sheet, I will post it. Like I said earlier my door sticker say 225/75/16. , build sheet says 245/75/16 Does anyone see a reason I can't buy 265/75/16. Rear gears 3.92. I would like to order them tonight. Thanks

Hey.....cool.

Since you've got 3.92's everything will be fine running 265's.
However, you will take a hit in the mileage department.
I'm actually rather jealous. I'd love even 3.92's with my 33 in tires.

You might think about running a tire that's a smidge narrower than the 265, but the same height. I guess that might be a 265/65/16 if there is one? Maybe? I dunno, just a thought.

Maybe 235/85/16's?

3.92s will be great with 265s. I doubt you will notice much of a mileage loss. Going from 225s to 265s with 3.55s i saw absolutely 0 mpg loss. My last 3 tanks have been 16.2 16.9 and 15.8mpg. Essentially the same range as it was before
