As cheap as a new pitman arm is, it seems easier to get the new one and skip to the beer much faster. Plus if you have a level or lift, now would be the time to get the "drop" arm which just swaps the joint to the bottom. My 2 pennies.

 

At 5" lift and 3" leveling blocks he should have had a drop pitman arm long ago. Anything > 3" lift requires that keeping steering reasonably in spec. Curious what other items were not changed out for the same reason, like track bar.

More information is needed to really address the "steering alignment" issue. Zman hit it readily with the alignment to be done, but it won't mean squat if necessary components are not there already.

If you were able to retain stock pitman arm w/o damage, then it's at least a trail spare....

 

yeah it does have a drop pitman arm but the only reason i didnt just get one off the bat is cause thats like an extra 200 bucks i didnt feel like spending
