Default roll over valve

New here...

did fuel pressure reg.test; tested over 90 PSI.- so repaced complete fuel pump cause of time.
In my truck the old fuel pump unit does not have one(rollover valve), according to mannual I am using it should ,but ordered one in exactly like what I took out.
It has electrical connector to fuel pump & hose connects to regulator.
bought used 2 years ago - could this be correct?
35 gal tank
2001 dodge 1500,6 cyl. 3.9 -door sticker states made in 04/2000-
last 8 didits of vin 1S708369
other problems arising - just want to make sure I am starting out correctly before more parts.

thanks in advance-great site

Our fuel pumps are a pump/regulator/check valve assembly. The pump is all you need.

is that check valve /pressure relief-rollover valve the same ,and if so is it located elsewhere on the fuel tank?
for it is not on top of the whole assembly of fuel pump.

if this is the wrong part.... again where does the pressure relief HOSE(rollover valve HOSE go to if there was one?)

Grab the 01 service manual from the FAQ section here. (in the service manual thread) On page 14-6, there are illustrations for fuel tank connections. Apparently, there were three different tanks used. 26 gallon, 34 gallon, and 35 gallon. The 26/34 gallon tank actually shows the rollover valve. The 35 gallon tank doesn't appear to have it. Which tank ya have on your truck?

Please explain in this thread the problem you are having with your truck. And how are you testing fuel pressure and what does it have for pressure now? Beside's the things to check I stated in reply to your PM, a bad crank sensor can also cause the issue you are having.
