stalling problem
I have a 2001 dodge ram sport 1500 that I bought almost a year ago, it has 72,000 miles on it.
yesterday it started stalling on me whenever I would slow down or stop the rpm's would flutter then drop and stall, it only did this after the engine warmed up.
now this morning I changed the air filter and replaced the pcv valve and it didnt help any.
i'm leaning towards it being the o2 sensor but i'm really not sure.
any suggestions on what it could be?
thank you
Brian

RE: stalling problem
sounds like a dirty throttle body and IAC valve. pull the TB and give it a good cleaning and make sure the small air passage ways are free of dirt and are clean. then clean the IAC valve and make sure it's in good opperating condition. you might want to spray a dab of oil on the shaft to make sure it can adjust easily and not stick.
