Default intake bolts?

Ok so I've been everywhere in town and nobody has intake bolts for my truck. Uninted can order them for me at $42 a set which i think is crazy just for bolts. I was also at carquest asking about them and they dont even have any listings for them. The guy their said you should be able to use normal hardware for them tho. Then at the same time their was a mechanic in the store as well and said the same thing. So my question is then can I just use normal hardware or do I need the special intake bolts that uninted can order for me?

Folks have used standard hardware, and reported no problems. There is some debate over whether they actually need to be replaced or not.... there is nothing in the service manual about not re-using them, but, there ARE notes for other fasteners that shouldn't be re-used...... Take on to the hardware store, match it up with some grade five fasteners, and call it a day. Biggest thing is, proper installation. Torque to the correct values, in the correct sequence, and you should be golden.
