Default Need help

So 2001 ram 1500 2wd. I finally tackled the plenum and got everything back together now I go to start my truck and when I first turn the key it hesitates to have any power and lights dim then it all comes on. After that if I hit anything it seems to lose all power for a second and come back. Also there is a ticking coming from my fuse box under the hood. Had battery tested it is good so where do I go from here.... I have no idea what it could be

Sounds like you knocked a ground loose or something. Did you put the ground back on the alternator?

Have you checked your fuse box to make sure nothing blown/on fire?

Does it crank?

It's looking like I just have a dead battery I finally had it start to crank after a long charge from my gfs car but that little thing isn't gonna jump me off so I'm gonna grab a charger and let it charge up all night

Well I got it to start but now there is a loud hiss and it slowly goes away and is replaced by a ticking sound and the idle is very rough so where should I go from here?

Well the hissing is gone and when the truck started it felt like it was running pretty smooth but then no start later by any chance could I have left a ground wire unattached ? Could that cause my battery drain and intermentent starting. And if so is there any particular place I need to start my search. Thanks for all your help though

Two ground wires up by the power steering pump, probably one off the back of each head, to the firewall. Make sure battery terminals are clean, and tight. Make sure all sensors/injectors/whathavyou are plugged in nice and tight.

Everything seems to be working now my final bridge to cross is that my temp is only ready about 130 through my obdII and won't even register on my gauges so im gonna go ahead and replace the coolant temp sensor because mine came apart and I didn't realize it was one whole probe so I guess I'm due for anew one thanks for all your help once again
