Default 9.25 rear spider gears ?

Will the spider gears from a open diff fit in a trac loc ? I am talking about the ones on the top and bottom that the carrier pin fits in !

Wouldn't bet on it. Could check part numbers though...... maybe.

They are the same, a cold chisel and a hammer will make fast work of getting those out of there, they are just cast after all.

Butt wtf do I know.

edit: ^^ See what I mean they are not cast and no they will not break this way I just tried.

I cut the pin out with the torch and got it apart but now trying to get the rest of the pin out of the spider gear ?

Glad you got it apart, I went out the barn laid the parts out and all I came up with was cut the cross pin. It cut with a hacksaw
just fine but idk if there is room for that work in the case.

Press, ball-joint tool with spacers, bench vise.

Yea used my ball joint press ! Going now to the scrap yard to get spider gears ! I hope they are the same ?

From what I have read they are, I have not had a non lsd set in my hands they aren't the ones that I fix lol. This set is still good you can have them if you want them.
