Def report back on the catch can, though I'm still concerned you're using that much oil up it just doesn't seem right to me!

I can smell burnt oil when I go to start my truck after it sits for a little while, and there is sometimes blue smoke when I accelerate from a green light. Forget about when I raced full throttle. I lost half a quart in 30 miles!

Blue smoke generally means time for a new motor. I'd do a compression and leakdown test and see what the numbers say.

doing a test would be good, maybe I can just do valve stem seals and see where that takes me. I started it up one morning and had to look under the truck for something quickly and it PUFFED blue smoke for 3 seconds.
