Fuel sync ?

I just swapped a 5.2 (truck had a 5.9) in my 96 ram 1500 and it seems to idle low and if you give it some gas and when it idles its self down it sometimes will die out ? Is this a fuel sync problem or pcm flash ?

Sounds like a IAC or TPS problem tbh

Did you use the 5.9 PCM?

The 5.9 PCM is gonna be tuned rich for the 5.2

Can i possibly use a scanner and retune it or have to use a tuner ?

Need a tuner. Scanner won't do that particular trick.

Clean Throttle body, test TPS. See if that doesn't help.

As said, it's a PCM issue. Go find a 5.2 PCM or go the dealer reflash route. Unless you know someone that has access to the Chrysler tool AND knows how to do it.
