axle seal

cant get pasanger side axle seal in need some tips please

I took mine to a shop, didn't want to mess with it myself. Thats the only advice I have to offer sorry. My mechanic rigged up some device with a threaded rod to slowly pull the seal into place without beating it in an risking damaging it.

It's really not that hard to change,I changed mine about a month ago.I made a tool to install it .

thanx for the input i found a peice of exaust pipe the same size as the seal welded it to a 3/8 fender washer and used threaded rod it took 5 minutes to instal after that

When you used the exaust pipe did you have to remove the ring and pinnion?

no the pasenger side it located on the outside of th cad cover so i did not have to remove anythig other then that
