truck revs while driving

It all depends. It started out just goen up hills so around 2000 or 2500 now just driving 55mph and up it acts up.

The TPS you put on there is probably bad as well.

OK today it seems like going from a dead stop it lugs won't move until its up to 1500 Rpms. It acts funny around 18hundred and 23hundred rpms. Would loose power then felt like it upshifted then it would get up and go. and it went a little ways then did it again.

Almost feals like its starting off in 2nd gear from a stop.

I've had it for two years and haven't changed any sensors.

Got a multi-meter? Preferably analog? Could test the TPS, and see if the one on there is bad.

No but I can replace the old one and if it doesn't fix it I can return it.
