Default Wiper fuse blowing

when I replace my fuse to my wiper blades and turn on the ignition the fuse blows. Could this be a short in my fire wall, a relay or the wiper motor?

Its a dead short somewhere..... gonna have to go digging into the wiring to see if you can find it. Pull the covers off the steering column, disconnect multi-function switch, stick the fuse back in, see if it still blows.

Moving this to tech section as well.

Welcome to DF!

^that. also look for a chaffed or broken wire at the tilt wheel pivot point.

OOoo, yeah. ^^^^ That too.

My wipers and turnsignals would stop working if the wheel was all the way up. The wires just aren't quite long enough, and tend to pull out of the switch when the wheel is put up.
