Just curious, are those 220k on the original tranny? That would be something!

Mines on #3 with 187K, according to the original owner.

From what I can remember, it did turn a high rpm at a high speed. A little background on what I am doing: I owned the truck in high school. It was my first truck and ran perfect and looked damn good. I kept up all the maintenance on a regular basis. I sold the truck to a relative after high school (2007) to get something with great fuel milage to go 300 miles away to college. During that time, the guy I sold it to raged the crap out of this truck. Did not take care of it what so ever. I bought the truck back from him after he blew a hole through a piston. I have since put a new motor and completely new interior as well as tons of various other repairs. Now the clutches are not grabbing and causing the tranny to get hot and smoke (at least thats what I assume is going on). I have not taken the truck on the road since the new motor, just drove it around the yard. Yes it is the original tranny. I know the clutches had been replaced sometime in the last 50k miles. Im at a point that if I am going to have to rebuild or replace a tranny then I would like to put something in that will give more power and torque to the rear wheels and when Im cruising at 75 or 80, I can grab another gear and set her down under 2 grand.
