Well, I'd have to see what his current window install looks like first before I feel comfortable enough to weigh in on the matter. I removed a rear slider whereas he's removing a solid back glass.

If the rear window has the rubber seal you can check out this how to vid.

Time to resurrect this thread.

So today I shattered the fixed glass on the driver side rear 2001 quadcab. It's a four piece slider, and safelite wants near $500 to replace the entire setup.

Local JY has one for $85. That's a much nicer price.

Any pics or DIY help for me? How do I get mine out, and how do I glue in the new one?
