2000 Ram 1500 4x4 ring gear question
I need to replace my rear ring and pinion, but I'm not sure on the ratio.
On the ring gear, I see stamped "3507647 3.5(?)?"
I can clearly see the 3, the second number looks like it MIGHT be a 5, third is pretty much just a dot. Is it likely this is a 3.55?
I know I could count the teeth but before i go to that just wondering if someone has some insight.
Eventually this will all be changed over to 4.56 but right now it just needs to match what was in there to get it back on the road.
Thanks in advance.

If it helps, it used to be an Auto (now a 5 spd). Was 3.55's a common ratio?
The reason I want to know is because I was thinking about going to nab a different rear end from a junk yard until I get this one rebuilt with 4.56's (and then do the front) but in the mean time I'd like it back on the road and still be able to use my 4 wheel drive if needed.

Alright, so I was going to get a used rear to replace my broken one while I rebuild it - but I notice the yolk is different pre-2000, where mine has the flat plate and the others have the yolk where the ujoint bolts to. Can this be swapped, or is there a difference in the pinion?
Also, why the hell do durango's have 6 bolt lugs ... and are they the same rear besides the axles?
