Your list is looking good, as you plan to use this truck hard I would skip the adda leaf and the block and look at a new spring pack, or if you live in a city find a heavy-duty spring shop and have them add two leafs and rearc the springs. Other than that you list is spot on, as for thin brackets not on a Ram I have heard Jeeps do have this issue we do not. White Knuckle is constantly wheeling his truck in the rocks and I have not heard him say squat about the frame brackets.

Tip: 3rd Gen 2500-3500 upper and lower control arms fit our trucks, I am using them in mine keep a eye open on the web for some used ones or cheap new ones. You can also build your own for about $300 and they would be adjustable if you so desired.

If things go well this weekend I will have the upper and lower arms from my truck up for grabs cheap, maybe even the newer 7" coil springs, I also have a extra Skyjacker adjustable trackbar, but not the frame bracket (very ez to make one).

Here are some 3rd gen arm specs for you to look over.

3RD Gen Dodge Ram Stock Control Arms:
Upper: 16 5/8"
Lower: 18 5/8"

KORE 3" Lift Control Arms:
Upper: 17"
Lower: 18 5/8

Fabtech 4.5" Lift Kit Control Arms:
Upper: 17 1/4"
Lower: 19"

Superlift 6" Lift Kit Control Arms:
Upper: 18 5/8"
Lower: 20 3/8

Fabtech 6" Lift Kit Control Arms:
Upper: 18"
Lower: 19 11/16"

TGC 6" Fixed Arms:
Upper: 18 13/16"
Lower: 20"

If you have acess to a metel brake and a tig welder the frame bracket is very ez to copy or make better.

Some pix of it, if you need a more detailed info I can go measure it every which way for you.
