Default Shudder in the rear of truck

My 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 has recently started having a shudder coming from the rear of the truck after driving it and getting it warmed up. It doesn't exhibit the shudder when cold (starting up in the morning) and the tranny shifts perfectly while on the highway at all times, but after driving it for a hundred miles (my standard morning and afternoon drives) it will shudder when I start moving again after a full stop. Typically, it seems much worse when turning to the right or left and uphill. I tend to work on my own vehicle if the repair isn't too complex but I don't want to go through a ton of money troubleshooting. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any help is appreciated!

OK, I've checked the u-joints and they are tight, fluids are good in all tranny, rear diff, and transfer case, and the tires don't exhibit unusual wear. Will check rear brakes next...

I think you should remove the diff cover and see what it looks like inside.

Yeah, I'm leaning that way too. Will update once I open it up.

Have you change the fluid in the differential? And if you did, Did you add fiction modifier to the fluid? Like Zman had said the problem maybe in the diff. Maybe the clutches for the LSD are cracked. And if you don't have an LSD differential, I have seen the spiders gears do the same thing.

Give a look at your leaf spring bushings, hangers, shackle, and ubolts to the axle. Your bushings, if original, might be starting to bind up enough.

Any dings in the driveshaft? Any of the weights on the driveshaft appear missing? Did this happen after putting a lift on the truck?

Just me but I would start with a comp test for the motor, might be a miss.

I replaced the rear diff fluid (definitely milky). Didn't fix the problem but glad I went in there for it though. I waited too long to do it. Inspected the gears and they all appeared to be within tolerances and visually looked to be in great shape. Saw on another Q/A that if the shudder/slip happens while turning (which mine seems to do when I turn to the right from a dead stop) that it is probably the wheel bearings on that side. Going to work on that next. Will post results. Thanks.
