none parking wipers

Default none parking wipers

help please i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 ram slt quad cab. the stupid wiper wont park in the down position. low,high, and delay all work fine. they just stop where they are when shutting them off . in order to get them to stop at the bottom you have time it just right. please help

Wonder how we all missed this one.......

Replace the wiper motor. That's the fix.

Having the same problem with my wipers, actually. So, since both wipers perform the exact same way, is it just one wiper motor causing the hangup, or are they both defective? I'd figured my problem was in the relay or the switch, initially! Not irritating enough right now to warrant replacing the motors though...

There is only one wiper motor.

Ah, my confusion... Last wiper project I did, each one was controlled by it's own motor! Though, that vehicle wasn't designed for use on land, either. Thanks for the clarification!
