Not a problem.

It took me a bit to learn how drive it with the DL's and now it will take me a little bit to learn to get used to this way lol.

My trak lock dropped right in...with zero adjustment needed, did yours? Wonder if that helps in the decision for the OP to ditch the lsd.

Slapped the tone ring and ring gear on the new carrier (use new ring gear bolts), did a couple of lash adjustments tq'd it down and all was good. I still say the 9.25 is one of the easiest diff's to work on other than a third member diff. I think you like I have done this work before so might be easier for us.

Not much of an update but I took a pic of my rear end two days after removing the clips because I found a flat washer in the bottom of the drip pan (oops). I don't disagree with Merc225 on the importance of the clips, I just found my truck works fine with-out, for the light duty I throw at it (for now).

Default update:(

So after a while of using my truck as my daily driver, I started to get a lil cocky on the performance of my rear axel. I did a lil bit of offroadn and broke the tires loose a few times but, a familiar vibration has returned. Long story short, I took the cover off to find a broken LSD disc (I think) at the bottom. it's an all metal piece and looks to be the same diameter as the other discs. anyway, i said id update ya and I have, back to work I go...
