Default 2000 1500 dodge won't start

It's got a 360 with 340,000 0n it. The truck just turns and turns but doesn't want to fire in tell you let off the key it kinda sputters a little bit the dies. The fuel pump is turning on I can hear it. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks
Adam

^This. My truck keeps turning for a good 3-5 seconds until it finally comes to life. I need to fix it already

I think it might be the dizzy.....it's been raining all night and my step dad says he has this problem when it's damp out......I just got home and it fired right up....shut it off and turned it back on like 8 times no problem

Get a spray bottle, fill it with water. Start the engine, and spray some around. See if you get a light show.

Could be the crank position sensor. It's not the easiest thing to get at.

My truck was doing this when the previous owner had the vacuum lines crossed to the purge valve on the intake manifold for the evap. I was getting a 441 code.
