Default Stalling when disengaging the clutch

I have a new problem, when driving if am coming to a stop or about to turn in some where and press in the clutch the rpms will drop then die and I can just start it back up, this only happens when driving and disengaging the clutch.

Sometimes it wont drop enough to stall sometimes it will drop all the way then come back by itself.

I have also noticed, that if when I press in the clutch and the rpms start to drop if I just blip the gas real quick the problem doesn't happen. The truck idles normal and does not stall anyother time. (also when getting on the highway and getting on it the check engine light came on, but when I started it to leave the mall the light wasn't on anymore.

It's kind of a weird problem and i am not too sure what to think, possibly IAC? I just don't want to waste money on parts I don't need.

I appreciate the help.

instead of pressing the clutch, what if you just bump it into neutral.
do it stall the same way?

if so - then its consistent that it doesn't like to idle, and might be iac or tps. it would be good to capture that CEL code.

if the neutral bump cures the problem, then its something weird.

Did you get all the vac lines back on the xcase when you put it back in the truck? You might check the hard lines as they like to break and cause a vac leak, which will throw off the rest.

I didn't take off the vac lines but I will check over all of them this weekend when I tear the case apart (got my parts in the mail) thanks for the tip.

Also yes it still dies when popping it into neutral. Its like it only does it when the load is taken off.

Also check engine light randomly comes on sometimes while driving, but cannot read it because next time I start it, its gone. Also obd I so im not sure how to read those..

Turn the key on, off, on, off, on and read the flashes and pauses of the CEL for the codes.

You can do it now, turning off the key doesn't lose the codes.

It should at least remember the code.... Try the key trick, not sure it works on the OBDI fellers, but, sure won't hurt to try.

Edit: Ninjaed by Arde.
