Default Gear Ratio Quandary

Happy Thanksgiving guys.

Just picked up an awesome '02 Ram3500 4x4 Cummins dually. Most of my driving is on the highway. When I am driving this bad boy at 60mph its doing 2k RPMs.

Does this sound like it has (the factory) gear ratio 355 to you?

I need a gear ratio suggestion to lower my RPMs (hence lower petro consumption and wear&tear) while driving on the highway/turnpike.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Peace out

Post a tire size please. The next ratio would be 3.21 I think to lower your rpms.

Basically a 32 inch tire. Assuming Dana 70 rear, I don't see anything lower than 3.55.... Larger diameter tires would accomplish the same thing though......
