Default aux power supply outlet

I have a 2000 quad cab and the aux outlet does not work. I checked the fuse and it was fine but I replaced it since sometimes you can't tell if it is blown. The contacts are clean. Any ideas?

Try using a 12v test light to see if you are getting power on the wire coming into the back of the plug or you could just have a loose connection.

Mine did the same thing on my 97 after a new stereo was put in...Some foolish person....Pulled on it too tight when putting in the unit and it pulled out of the back of the plug....Humm the I am not going to drop a dime on the foolish person...but just let me say this he will never go through the hassle of fixing said wire again.
