just got my tranny rebuilt and the shop said 4.10 gears or no warranty so no I'm here. I bought a 96 2500 dana 60 front and rear(limited slip too!) with 4.10s, i got a 360 gasser so I would have the 2.5in rear leafs. Only problems I have ran into so far are the leaf spring shackle bolts were completely seized and required torching, also the gas tank is in the way of the front left leaf spring bolt.

I have my parts truck all tore apart and my truck in the shop with the rear axle out getting ready to put in the d60, I hope to have it all done next week. Ill snap some pics soon! I got lots of parts left over too, rust free red long box!!

Yes it is in the way. Some just loosen the strap and move the tank, it don't work well for my hands, then there is the from the top idea same thing loosen the tank straps and you a can reach it not for me. I just dropped the tank in the end much ezier for me.

 

Finally have it completed! Also was looking into a adjustable track bar till I saw the price tag! So I just went ahead and made my own, ill throw in some pics.

Are those five lug D60's??? Where did you come up with those?

 

Where your leaf springs really? 2.5 in? I was under the bought that after those weird 94 light duty ones all were 3in. Mine from the 02 2500 are 3in

Yes they were 2.5 in. It was a 96 model 2500, manufactured in 95 though. Ill try to look for some numbers its kinda rusty.
