Need to find a radio that you KNOW is good....... You have good power, and ground, that leaves the radio.

I don't know where I would find another one at though, I have two aftermarket headunits in my garage, one of which I know works very well, but I would have to get the adapter for it.

Unless someone on here has a Mopar to Kenwood adapter.

Really? that cheap?

I might just go buy one then.

What about the problem of big hole little radio? The factory radio is much taller.

Yep going to need the bezel to match the two up also cheap. Have a look at Crutchfeild web site they should have what you need.

Your local box store will usually have both in stock and cheap.

Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Radio Shack, even Advance and Auto Zone usually have install kits.

Well I tried the two radios that aren't in the half ton, in the Cummins, and interestingly enough, they don't work.

Ok, double post time.

I decided to try the radio that is currently in the truck, the original one, with a definitive yes, it works, or no, it doesn't.

I took a car battery and sat it on the floor of the truck, hooked the ground to the ground cable from the radio, and the positive to both the constant, and key on power.
What happened? Not a damn thing.
