40 is a dual chamber and 44 is a single chamber. It's much louder

I also installed a thrush glasspack 2 mos ago after driving without a muffler for more than 2 yrs after my flowmaster rusted out. At first with no muffler it sounded badass but after awhile i it drove me nuts because of the drone in cab. After researching all possible mufflers and prices i didnt want to spend the big bucks on my 2001 pig. So i settled for the thrush glasspack for only $25.00 at advanced auto parts. And i couldnt be happier. It has that the low deep rumble i was originally looking for. For under $50.00 (clamps and dumped after the muffler) you cant lose.

I have a Flowmaster 50 (can't remember if its delta flow or super 50 so i just say super 50 lol) and I love it. I get alot of compliments on it and it's not super loud and doesn't crackle. I have a crappy exhaust vid but it gives a good general idea for sound, does sound louder in vid bc of the camera being so close

Im with the thrush glasspack guys. Ive been through many exhaust setups, but if I were to pick a favorite, it would simply be thrush glasspack in place of the stock muffler with everything else stock. Smooth, deep, not too loud but still noticeable. Now I have a gutted cat and the thrush and Im not a big fan of it. Another plus of the thrush is that its perforated core, not louvered, so it will flow great, and its almost like a real cheap magnaflow.

You guys have deffinitely given me some great insight! Dapepper, that sounds beautiful.. hows it sound when you punch it? any highway drone? I keep going back and forth now on magnaflows and flow master. Though the idea of a cheap glass thrust isnt awful.
