If my 2000 Ram 1500 4x4 has a limited slip rear end ?.

OR you can email dodge and ask for your build sheet...that's what I did to figure out exactly what my truck's factory specs were. I believe there's a thread on that in the "how-to" section.

That's true, but only if it's still the factory axle.

Or do a little spin out in the snow or some loose gravel,then go back and look at your tracks, if it's open then only one tire will spinout , if limited slip both tires will grab and leave a double spin out patch.

Jack up the rear and spin one tire with your hand. If the other tire spins in the same direction, you have limited slip. If it doesn't, then you either don't have LS or it's shot.
