Time to get pissy with it no more try and do it nice, put something like a gasket scraper or a large screwdriver between the intake and the front of the block were the gasket goes. Tap it in with a hammer until it pops (don't pry that will mark the surfaces worse) once it's free your pick on how to lift it off. If you mark the block or the intake, a little extra rtv in those areas will take care of it just fine.

This is not the normal way you know that but you have to get it off right.

Also start soaking the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts as well.

I scraped the gasket off the whole front end of it.. In fact I got it all the way through the gasket to the other side. Nothing popped loose. =(

You gave up to fast. A shop is going to say new heads for sure and or lot's of labor. Get it back and let us help you. So you have that area open good all you had to do was do as I suggested using a screwdriver or a prybar in there to pop/break the intake gaskets seal on the heads to intake.

Edit: I see a $1500+ shop bill comeing

Not this shop. =) They aint charging me a penny, and it took a cherry picker and the weight of the motor to pull it loose. They got the broken bolts out, and the sensor replaced.. All I have to do it go up in the morning and put it all back together now. These guys are good friends of mine.

All done. I got everything cleaned up, back together and its running great! No leaks that we can see! Thanks for everyone's help on here. I really appreciate it!

Yes, it was definitely on tight. The cherry picked pulled the back end up first, but the front end took a bit of pounding to finally let go. Everything inside though was pretty clean, considering. Oh, and the sensor is working great. Whole lot of trouble for a sensor.. If anyone else has one to change, I recommend being nice and easy with it! LOL

You know, I thought about it.. But after spending 24 hours trying to dismantle it, and then having it towed to a shop, and finally having to put it back together up there, I kind of forgot that issue. Especially with a 700 mile drive coming Friday. Lol
