That'll work.......

It really shouldn't hang on THAT tight..... not wedged under the valve covers by chance is it? (shouldn't do that either.)

Nope, But I found something. I need an opinion. The back two bolts I thought someone forgot when they put the Plenum in, aren't missing. They ARE Broke!! After reading it here I figured, oh why not stick a screw driver in there and just check. Sure enough! So, since the manifold isn't threaded.. Would this stop it from coming off? I have the Shop coming down to give some assistance here..

Yes, the fuel rail is still on, but the line is disconnected
Should I remove it?

Depending on how long they've been broke they could have rusted all to hell and got junked up.

I've seen some rust that looks stronger than a weld.

Yikes.. Maybe if I soak them real good with some PB Blaster? Im not sure when this work was done.. The guy that owned it before me, only had it 2 months. (He does more buying and selling than driving)

Worth a short. How far down are they broke? If they are sticking up into the intake much they will fight you when you try to pry it. It will have have to come straight up to get off. No angles.

I hope that. Made sense

They will give you some trouble... but, the front of the manifold should still break loose, even with them in there. Just gonna have to lift the manifold straight up to get it off of them, without breaking them off....

Once you have the manifold out.... soak the bolts with PB Blaster, clamp some vice-grips on them, and wiggle back and forth, while tapping on the end of the bolt with a hammer. The vibration will get the pb to soak in better, and the bolts will break loose, and come out, as opposed to breaking off, and giving you even more headaches.
