Front + Rear Dana 60 3.55 to 4.10 gear swap?
IMHO going from 3.55 to 4.10 is a waste of money. That is such a small change in gearing is that really worth the time and money?
To do the swap you need gear sets for both the front & rear axles and then you will want to get two install kits. They make a master install kit or a regular install kit. I would get the master kits just to make sure you have any and everything you will need. They run $150-200 per kit. Are you going to do the install yourself or have someone do it for you? If you decide to go with 4.56 or lower gears then you're going to need new carriers too. This is a good time to install limited slip or full locker traction devices. It all comes down to how much you have and want to spend.

In my case all I am going to do for now is get a new empty carrier's for the 5.?? I can get them for about $160 each then swap all my parts over to it and install. Unless I screw something up I will be re-using all the bearings and other parts if they are ok, there is no reason to replace with new all the time.
Thanks for all of the thoughts. As of now, I'm checking to see what gears I must have to do the swap and how much those will cost me. My truck feels a bit sluggish from a dead stop now that I have the larger tires on it, so I'm leaning towards doing the 4.10 swap. I really do not want a steeper gear in the truck, as I do a fair bit of mixed driving and anything more than 4.10 would be too much for my taste.
I have a good friend that does driveline work for a living and he will set them up in the truck for me reasonably. He installed my Trac-Lock unit in the rear last year and its working great. I handle the bulk of the maintenance and repairs of this truck myself.
