Possibly.

If you hear it buzz that would suggest that it powers up, only way to know how operational it is would be to test fuel pressure.

If you can take a fuel pressure test with you you can test the pressure if the battery will hold out.

If you're roughly 20 miles away can you get someone to tow it back to your place?

alreight fellas. i got my truck home. and youll never guess what the issue was. alright so i had just picked up some starting fluid, banged on the fuel tank a good 30 to 40 times as well as putting another 5 gallons of gas in. tried to start it, nothing. pop the hood, take the intake off(im on the passenger side) open the throttle up, spray some down each hole. i told my mom to turn it over. im looking and i see a spark from the headers. i grab a flash light so i can see what i was seeing. longer story short, the damn plastic casing around the one spark plug had been resting against the header, melted and eventually melted the wire. i pulled the wire off the header and it started up imediately. unbelievable man. never in a million years would i thought that was the issue. all i can say is i didnt drop money on a fuel pump, alternator. thanks for all the help guys. happy new years

Glad to hear you found the problem! Atleast you know how to trouble shoot some other issues you might see in the future now.

not bare wire, but if i bend the wire i can see cracks and what not coming more present. i taped it real good with electrical tape and put the loom back around that. then i put new zip ties on. its a good 5 to 6 inchs away from any metal it could possibly ground out on. ill replace it down the road, but for now i think itll hold up just fine. also a nice little side note, before all this **** happened, my check engine light was on. its no longer on. the code was evaporation related. cant remember the code off the top but in all honesty its running better than its ever ran since ive had it. thanks for all the help fellas.

That should be good for now then. Just check it once in a while, to make sure it isn't migrating. Wait for warmer weather to decide if it really needs replaced.
