fuel rail connection
My good friend's 2001 with 5.2 liter no longer starts, symptoms suggest fuel pump. The manual indicates an adapter is needed to tee in a pressure gauge. Manual drawings show a threaded fitting connecting fuel line to fuel rail.
Can anyone say the size/pitch of the threads, or a good source for pressure test adapter?
PS vehicle has only 60,000 miles, seems very low for fuel pump failure. Has anyone had similar experience?
Thanks!

Thank you! Prime is audible. My gauge fits early Chevy, I think threads are the same as a tire valve stem. Vehicle is somewhat out of pocket, lives in the next town. If anyone can say about test port threads it might save some running around.
Thanks again!
