i know my fuel sync is off, but this poppin started before i messed with that. and its the same pop hasnt changed. ill prob check the fuel pressure again at idle and while driving. i found my old post, and last time i checked it, at idle it was at 35. i looked up a new pump and it says that it puts out 38-44psi , so that right there is saying its low.

Well you have been dealing with this since 04/2013 it's time to take it to a shop that knows what they are doing. We have told you many a time to get the fuel sync set you know it not set right but you don't try to fix it. If you don't try to help yourself then don't keep whining about it here.

Fuel sync HAS to be right for the engine to run right. If you know it is a problem, then it needs to be fixed. Until then, nothing else you do is going to help.

fact is, i dont have the money to get it set right now, so how about not be a dick? and the problem started before the fuel sync was ever messed with. and for the record i know what im doin, just cant set the fuel sync without the right tools. and the fuel sync being off vs. the problem im gettin is 2 different feelings, i can tell when the sync to far one way or another. this pop aint being caused by it. unless the fuel sync can magically go out of wack by itself cuz it was never touched when the problem started.

So are you calling me a "Dick" cause thats not gonna fly with me one bit (I think you can be banned from here for that). If you can't afford to fix it, drive it, then sell the thing and be done with it.

Alright. lets leave off with the insults and such.

@Ryan: Have you done a compression test?

yea i did, and it passed. actually blew the compression tester up on #8. blew a hole in the side of it lol, i took it back and said well i guess my compression is good... i have literally check everything just shy of rebuilding it completely. except for the fuel sync which im gonna get set dont worry just aint got the money but i will ina couple weeks. and then the o2 sensor which could still be the prob like we talked, and the fuel pressure im gonna check it again while driving. the who knows the pressure regulator could be going crazy under load. for the most part it acts just fine when in 4wd climbing things. no problems at all.

Mine would run fine at moderate throttle, regardless of temp, but, when I started getting into it harder, I would start getting misfires, backfires, flashing check engine lite, and all sorts of other rude behavior. Changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, even the coil.... with no change. Do the same thing with or without O2 hooked up... Turned out to be my crank sensor.... Replaced that, and it is much better behaved now.....

yea i have changed that also. its just weird it acts just fine when the o2 is out of the stream. so either its reading wrong, or the stream is off. which i know the fuel sync will cause but can a fuel sync just magically go out of sync by its self? you wouldnt think so if its locked down in place like it was. so that just makes me go right back to the o2, like i said it didnt like the bosche one either. so maybe it just needs a NTK. its worth a shot for $30. if not then ill pressu on to the fuel pressure and pump again... thanks anyways.

What brand crank sensor did you use? Our trucks tend to be picky about whose sensors they will not have issues with.....

Give the NTK O2 sensor a shot, see what happens.
