Question stock truck, big tires?

hey guys I just bought a 1997 dodge 1500 4x4 sport single cab short bed. It has no lift but I just put rancho 5000 shocks all the way around. I want to put mikey Thompson sidebiter 2 rims on the truck. they are 15" by 10" with a 3 5/8" back spacing. for tires I want to put khumo road venture mt's 33x12.50r15. will this combo work with no lift? will I have rubbing? and is the back spacing ideal for what I am looking for? also any input on offset? im kinda new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I don't think you will be able to at the moment. The back you should be okay but it's the front. A leveling kit ($100-$150) will allow 33s to fit the front no problem. You may have a problem fitting those 15" rims as well. I'm never ran them but I don't believe they will fit without some modification to the caliper. As for the offset, that's a lot of offset. I have 16 x10 rims with 4" back spacing and its a lot but my lift allows me to run them. You might rub with that offset.

are 305/75/16 the same as 33's? or roughly? I want the tires to stick out past the fenders a little that's why I went with the 12.5's on a 10 inch wide rim with the 3 5/8 back spacing... if I get 16" by 10" rims with a 4 inch back spacing will the tires still stick out a little? if I do rub do you think it will be bad? just trying to get as much info as possible before I spend 1300 bucks

16x10 with a 4" backspacing are going to stick out lots, close to 4" on the front and 3" on the back.

This is a 16x10 with 4" backspacing.

Offset is pretty much irrelevant. Backspacing is what determines where your tires sit.

Those rims should fit just fine. (if they are 15's though, you will have to modify either the calipers, or the tie rod ends to get them to fit.)

I have actually been looking into that and most people said on their 1500's they didn't have a problem with brake rubbing especially with the rims im looking at. and if they did have a problem with the caliper rubbing they just ground it down an 1/8 of an inch in the back...I did not hear a thing about tie rod ends though..

If they are at a local store, have them test fit one. See what it looks like.

I think the stud rubs the edge of the wheel, or some such..... From what I recall, some material needs to be removed, but, not enough to compromise the part.
