sounds like a sticking caliper....

Have you inspected your steering linkage yet?

I would say it's the caliper also. Check the pins and see if they're seized up. I had one on my Mustang that wouldn't hardly budged so I got a brake hardware kit and some grease to replace the pin and free it up. If that doesn't work then the caliper would need to be replaced if it is indeed a brake issue.

I was having a lot of problems with my calipers not floating on the pins (Dana 44), clean them grease them and in less than a week they would be seized solid again. So after talking to my parts guys about this they recommended this product, Permatex Ultra Slick Ceramic Extreme Brake Lubricant after going to this product all my caliper floating problems stopped. I now use it religiously when rebuilding brakes.

Wonder if the caliper is getting hot and cooking the grease.

Might be bc I've only used grease from a grease gun, but would that still cause it to pull to the left when applying the brakes

If the pins are seized yes it will. Take apart the pins, clean everything with brake cleaner then at least use some type of brake grease on them. Reg grease will not work at all nor will anti-seize compound.
