Some people do the kegger mod which is removing most of the runner inside of the manifold. It'll rob a little low end but breathes better in mid and high rpm ranges.

I'm really happy with the Hughes Airgap. Worth saving for a little longer IMO

I think I'll just mid the stock one. But I wonder what would happen if u connected the two throttle bodie holes and just made then one oval? And did the same on the throttle bodie?

You would need a different throttle plate if you did the throttle body. Lot more work for the minimal benefit you get.

Doing the throttle bores on the intake? Questionable. Not sure you would gain anything.

Modding the stock kegger isn't too bad of a job, just time consuming.

If you are running boost, you want a different manifold in any event. Runners in the kegger are just too long. Check your local craigslist, ebay, etc, for used M1/Air Gap manifolds. Happens once in a while. Those three are your only options. Just not much aftermarket support left for these engines.

That's not surprising. They aren't exactly 'common'. You will have to practice your search-fu.... as there isn't any naming convention there.....
