Question 1997 Ram 5.9 mid throttle no load misfires

Engine starts and idles fine. When driving in a no load speed it misses badly. Same when shifting gears. Otherwise it accelerates smoothly with lots of power.

Have replaced plugs ,wires, rotor ,cap, coil, and re-routed wires as per TSB 18-48-98

Where should I look next?

If it is only at certain throttle positions, check the TPS. If it does it all the time, and gets worse at higher RPM, might be a crank sensor.

Cleaned and tested TPS checks ok, So checked for codes and Crank Sensor comes up, Order a new one and install.

Runs great for about 10 minutes then sputters and loses power but still runs barely at any speed or revs.

Checked for codes and got Camshaft code. Not sure want to spend more as something weird seems to be happening.

Forgot to mention before that installed new fuel pump too.

Any more ideas?

Check the connectors for the cam sensor. (wires come out of distributor.) Its just a hall affect switch. Dirty connections may be the only issue. Worth looking at at least. (its free. )
