Default Making a recovery!

Well, the dodge will be running again soon. I got a 2wd nv4500 and will be putting it in the dodge. Trans and everything needed to make my truck a manual (pedals, cylinders, lines, etc) was only $600 all together. All I gotta do is change the main output shaft, rear housing, and t-case main gear, right? ANy tips or suggestions????

May not need to do anything on the t-case. Test fit it all before bolting it in.

Ill make sure to check it. Heck the 29 spline from the tran might fit in the 23 spline t-case for all I know. Best to try. And ill try to post pics. I pick up the trans Tuesday.

According to theory, some trans shops will buy they, and I occasionally see folks on craigslist advertising that they buy cores. Have I ever actually sold one as a core? Nope.

If nothing else, tear it down, and turn in the case for the aluminum. (you get more for it if you strip it down.)

You can reflash it with a manual trans tune, otherwise, it is going to whine about not seeing some inputs that it expects with the auto.

Hmm, and how might I go about with that? Can the parts store take care of that?
