Default 4hi vibration

so just got 5in of snow last night and decided to use 4wd. while driving I start to get a vibration around 30mph like a wheel is out of balance, but I know its not as I just had them rotated last week and they rebalanced at that time. now this is what gets me, it only vibrates when I am accelerating, in 4wd, and around 30mph. I also noticed while taking off, the 4x4 shift has this pulse like movement to it, moving front to back. not sure if that's normal, but I don't remember that happening last year. tranny mount was replaced about 2 months ago.

any help is huge as this is annoying the pi$$ out of me.

Check all the u-joints in the front driveline. Sounds like one is binding.

well I do believe the driver front is going out. pretty sure I here the clanging of a worn joint. is it possible that a worn ujoint would be thrown off axis and causing the vibration.
