Fixed broken vacuum line but cruise still doesn't work?
I already searched the manual, but I couldn't find anything. I meant like a link to a step by step on this forum or someplace. I thought you might know of something like that somewhere.
Haven't a clue.... mainly because I haven't needed to look..... I have just been doing this too long.
It's like second nature.... kinda. (even though I am NOT always successful.)
Testing the resistances across the wires would be easy for you though. Just need the meter, two paper clips, and another warm body.
Disconnect battery.
Unplug grey connector from PCM. (passenger side, under the hood, middle connector I think.)
Find Pins 11 and 32, if you look closely, they are numbered.
)Stick you paper clips in them.
Put your leads from the meter on the paper clips. have the meter on 20K Ohms scale.
Have your warm body push the a button, and see what reading you get on the meter.
On/Off should be about 909 ohms. (very small number on the 20k scale.)
Resume/Accel should be 15,400 ohms.
Set/Coast should be 6650 ohms.
If they are close, that is probably good enough. When no buttons are pushed, should be infinite resistance. (Flashing 1 on a digital meter.)
Keep in mind, the human body conducts electricity as well. So, don't touch both leads/paperclips while testing. It will throw off the results.
If that all checks out, that means the switches are good, and your problem is elsewhere.

I appreciate you writing that all out for me, but I think I'm going to hold off until I find someone to help me who knows how to do this. I don't feel comfortable enough doing it myself.
