Default Tranny question

I have asked this question before and didn't really get much input. I figure I will try again just to see if u guys maybe have some other suggestions. My truck has had a tranny issue since I bought it a year and 10,000 miles ago. When it is cold it jumps. I have to let off the gas to get it to stop. That's the only way I can think of to describe it. It is definitely in the tranny and not the motor. It doesn't matter if overdrive is on or off. I used to be once it warms up it would stop now it seems to be doing it more and more. At one point a few months ago I had a torque converter code. Don't remember the exact code but I cleared it and the cel never came back on. I appreciate any input. Thanks. Btw it had a NEW tranny put in about 40,000 ago. Bought the truck from a lifelong friend so I know he's not bs ing.

Like dumping the clutch with a manual? Might be a bad TCC solenoid.

It's not a violent jump like dumping the clutch. It almost feels like a hesitation like it would if the motor has a miss in it.

Test the throttle position sensor. See if it is doing the Right Thing™.
