Those should work. Front is standard rotation.

Sounds good to me. See any number that don't add up and mine should be a 9.25 axle right?

Wait, you have a 2500. You should have D60's front and rear. (don't think the LD 3/4 ton lasted past 95....) Those gears WON'T work.

Reverse rotation gears are for "High Pinion" axles. We don't have those. (much as I wish I did.... better ground clearance, better pinion angles when lifting, etc.)

what size are Dana 60 gears for a 98? The Randy R&P site only gave me that choice.

There's this set.... but, they are over 200 bucks.... they have yukon gears for a bit more...... Ouchie. Then, you have http://www.ebay.com/itm/DANA-60-Ring-Pinion-Gears-4-88-Ratio-D60-NEW-Axle-Chevy-Ford-/221291528429?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item338600c0ed&vxp=mtr, on Ebay.... I think you will need "thick cut" gears though... something else to keep in mind.

Might wanna give Randy's a call, and have a chat.

Prob the best idea. If I can get both axle sets for $400, I might be able to do that. Guess its research time. Either way, I think they are the same gear size cause one I clicked on for the D60 said the ring was 9.25". Maybe they are the same, maybe not. Ill see what Randy's has to say.
