Default Brake line question

I have a 98 ram and i've been meaning to ask if others have rust on the metal brake lines near the master cylinder. I'm not sure if its anything or not or if over time they need replaced. Hope they don't give way and I can't stop the truck. I've owned the truck since new and have done all the maintenance on it..more than the average bear to include a brake system flush a couple years ago. They've been like that for a long time and no mechanic has ever said anything about it or state inspector if they look. Anyone have any idea on this?

thanks

depends on how rusty they are,if it looks like a little surface rust, probably ok,but,if its so rusty that it looks like layers of rust or its flaking then its gonna blow soon!! i found this out on my dakota..

Nah, not really, just get the right size line, and bend it yourself. Few bucks.
