Default MODS and Superchip flash question

Ok, so I'm use to working on my classics mopars and not so much the new technology vehicles. I am replacing the plenum, cleaning up the intake, shaving the runners a little and opening the injector ports a little. (Per the modification Instructions I have) I am going with 4hole injectors, 50mm TB, K&N filter, new 8mm plug wires, accel rotor and cap, MSD coil, full Flowmaster exhaust, with 3" cat back. All that said, I have the Superchips programmer, if I run the performance flash is there anything else I need to do to prevent codes or is it trial and error? Hope this makes sense. It's a 2000 Dodge Ram ORE with 5.2 66,000 miles on it.

Verify what thermostat your tuner wants in there for the high performance tune, and install that one.

I would consider doing the timing chain/gears while you were in there doing the plenum, but, yours if pretty low mileage, so, probably not absolutely necessary.

Aside from that, run it, see what ya get.

Ok,will check that. I had a leak in the timing chain cover gasket about a month ago so did the timing chain, gear and water pump then so those are all new.

Thanks for the reply!
