Just had my ram tranny kinda go out on me it oozes onto reverse and shift to second maybe third and miss the next i bring the rpm down aftr the miss a slightly increase rpm it shift but misses again also its whine stop driving it when it started didnt wanna further damage anything ..so anybody out there with some input ? Jasper rebuilt this tranny about 5 or 6 years ago

Drop the pan, see what you find. If nothing "Bad"™, adjust the bands, change the filter. If you are feeling really froggy, change the governor pressure sensor and solenoid as well.
Edit: Try this first.
Crawl under the truck, find the 8 pin connector about halfway back on the drivers side of the trans.
Unplug it.
Go for a drive. You will have to manually shift gears. Run it thru the gears once. (or twice.) You won't have O/D, or TCC lockup, so, don't go far, and don't tow anything.
if it works ok that way, the above suggestion (with the electronics) should fix it right up.
