Default Injector info ?

What lb. injectors do the 318 and 360 have ? My trucks old 360 had a pcm that came with it that has been tuned because the 360 had a bigger cam but i was wondering if i could put bigger lb inj in my now 318 and use that pcm to get some more power ?

From what I have read, they are 22lb/hr injectors on both V-8's. Just the programming is a bit different.

You may be able to use the other pcm, but, bigger injectors in and of themselves won't give you any more power.

And my truck doesn't have a cat converter with true 2.25 dual exaust ! It has 4.56 gears front and rear but the 318 i swapped in it just really lacks on power ? I just want a little more out of it ?

That shouldn't be an issue then.

Plenum fixed?

There really isn't that much of a power difference between the 318 and 360..... how many miles on the engine? What all has been done to it?

When i did the 360 to 318 swap sept 2013 i put all new gaskets on the motor, new timing set, and water pump ! The 318 i bought was suppose to have about 100k on it and all the bearings looked new when i checked them ! I used the 360 intake with the alum plenium plate and good fel pro gasket and bolts ! When i started the motor it misfired and after checking everything it had bad inj so i swapped them and it ran good !

Stock = Siemens 53030778 (EV1) 21.9lb/hr@43.5 PSI (23.2@49psi) 12ohm

I used Bosch #0280155784 (EV6) 22.3lb/hr@43.5psi (23.7@49psi) 12.5ohm
These are 4Port injectors, and you need EV1-EV6 Adapters to plug in the harness.
They're working great for me.

I've also heard of folks using Bosch #0280155703 22.5lb/hr@43.5psi on 360's.

You're not going to need or benefit from bigger injectors unless you have substantial mods that demand it.
24# wouldn't be needed unless you have a stroker.
